County Council to consult on A1307 Traffic Regulation Order
Following our latest update at the Local Liaison Forum, and as part of our £14m package of quick wins for the Cambridge South East Transport Study, we are writing to let you know that Cambridgeshire County Council is now consulting with statutory stakeholders on a Traffic Regulation Order for a proposed bus lane on the A1307.
The proposed works would include the installation of a bus lane on the eastbound carriageway of the A1307 towards Haverhill, from Dalehead Foods to Linton. The works would help improve journey times whilst improving safety at what is currently a dangerous stretch of road.
The £14m package of quick wins, is aimed at improving road safety, walking, cycling and bus journeys along the A1307 by 2020.
