Our wild bees and Pollinators are suffering serious decline

and in some cases facing species extinction

What are Pollinators?

Does their loss to our environment matter?

Can their decline be stopped?

How can we locally make a difference?

These questions and many more will be answered at the Horseheath Village Hall on Saturday 3rd November at 10 AM

Horseheath Parish Council have developed a Pollinator Action Plan and as a result have been awarded a grant to make our Parish more pollinator friendly and this meeting is the first stage of the action plan.

To make a difference we need your help and equally importantly we need young people to get involved in our action plan and understand the importance of encouraging biodiversity, not only in our public spaces but also within our own gardens.

The event is supported by wildlife charities with the Cambridge Biodiversity Officer being present to provide an expert view on biodiversity and answer all your questions.

It will be a great morning for adults and children alike with activities, competitions and free tea and cake on offer.

Please come and join us and make a difference!
